Beyond the Mainstage

Messiah at the Market

Composer: George Frideric Handel (1685-1759)
Handel’s beloved holiday music, sung together with the Edmonton Opera Chorus.

For the third year, Edmonton Opera invites you to help fill the room with Handel’s Messiah.

This is Messiah in a different kind of setting. You can eat, drink, and quietly chat as the music unfolds, with plenty of food and drink options available from Station Park Food Hall vendors. Plus, $10 from each ticket becomes a $10 voucher to use toward food or drink at the venue.

Part concert, part community gathering, Messiah at the Market has quickly become one of Edmonton Opera’s favourite ways to begin the holiday season.

This event sells out every year, and with three performances, including one matinee, we encourage you to get your tickets early.
