How can I contact the box office?
By phone (780.429.1000), by email (email@example.com) or visit us in person at the Opera Centre, located at 15230 128 Ave. Box office hours are Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm. We are closed on weekends and statutory holidays.
When will I receive my tickets?
Season tickets are mailed out at the beginning of September. Single tickets are mailed out daily and take approximately 3-5 business days to arrive. Note: Tickets ordered less than 14 days prior to the performance will be held at the box office for pickup at the Jubilee on the night of the performance.
I have lost/not received my tickets, what do I do?
Please call our box office to verify that we have received your order. If we have your order on file, we will be able to reprint your tickets for you up to 15 minutes prior to the performance.
What are season tickets?
Season tickets are a package that includes a ticket to each of our mainstage productions in the 2017/18 season — Lilies, HMS Pinafore, and Don Giovanni. You pick the performance day and the seating zone and can save up to 30% compared to single ticket pricing. Season ticket holder benefits include the option to renew your seats each year before tickets go on sale to the general public and other special offers. After the first production of the season, Opera Duo packages will become available, which include both remaining shows starting at $72.
How do I become a season ticket holder?
You can visit us online, at the box office in person or call us at 780.429.1000 for our 2017/18 season. If you are under 40, ask about our encore! and Explorers programs.
Can I buy a gift certificate for Edmonton Opera?
Absolutely! You may purchase a gift card for any amount, which will be valid towards the purchase of opera tickets. Gift certificates can be purchased online and by callling or visiting the box office.
Are there group discounts?
Yes! Edmonton Opera offers a 20% discount for groups of 10 or more for Tuesday and Friday performances. When you book your tickets online, the discount will automatically be visible in your cart. For questions, or to book over the phone, please call the box office at 780.429.1000.
Is there child pricing?
We offer $20 tickets for children and youth (17 years of age and under) to all of our productions at the Jubilee.
Can I still renew my season tickets from last season?
Season ticket packages can be renewed until March 31, 2017. After this date, you may still renew, but your seat selections from last season may not be guaranteed.
When do single tickets go on sale?
Single tickets for our 2017/18 operas — Lilies, HMS Pinafore, and Don Giovanni will go on sale in July 2017. Tickets may be purchased online, by calling the box office at 780.429.1000 or by visiting the box office in person at our north end facility, located at 15230 128 Ave.
Can I refund/exchange tickets if I can’t use them?
No refunds are given. Tickets can be exchanged for a different evening of the same production, i.e. changing Saturday tickets to the Tuesday or Friday performance of the same opera. Season ticket holders can exchange their tickets free of charge, and single ticket buyers can exchange their tickets for a $5 fee. You must exchange the tickets at least 48 hours in advance of the performance. You can exchange your tickets over the phone and the new tickets will be available for you to pick up at the Jubilee on the night of the show. Simply bring your old tickets and we will change them to new ones. If you exchange for an evening with a lower ticket price, we will issue a tax receipt for differences $20 or greater. If you cannot attend the opera at all, we can issue a tax receipt for the value of the tickets. Full contact information for the box office can be found here.
What if I missed the performance? Can I still get a tax receipt?
We can only issue a tax receipt or seat exchange up to 48 hours prior to the performance. In order for tickets to be considered a donation, we must be able to release them for re-sale.
I am an Explorers member. How do I book my tickets?
Explorers can book their tickets online (www.edmontonopera.com) on the day of the performance starting at 8 am. If you experience technical difficulties, give us a call during business hours at 780.429.1000.

How accessible is the Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium?
The Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium is wheelchair accessible and is equipped with special devices for the hard of hearing. Wheelchair accessible parking is located near the front entrance of the Jubilee.
Can I request an Edmonton Opera ticket donation for my charitable event?
Yes, Edmonton Opera offers a limited number of tickets during the year for community groups hosting a charitable event or fundraiser. Please fill out this form (click here) to request tickets and we will get in touch with you.
