Join us for an interactive panel discussion that will examine Mozart's masterpiece Don Giovanni through the lens of #MeToo, exploring the protagonist's notorious behaviour towards women and how the opera can add to contemporary conversations around sexual harassment/abuse.

The panel includes:

• Edmonton Journal columnist Paula Simons

• Musicologist Stephan Bonfield

• Soprano Whitney Sloan, starring as Zerlina in Edmonton Opera's upcoming Don Giovanni

• Annette Klevgaard, educator at the Sexual Assault Centre of Edmonton

The evening will conclude with a special performance by soprano Whitney Sloan and baritone Tyler Fitzgerald.
