Free Film Screening: Roman Holiday at the Garneau

Enjoy a night out at the Garneau Theatre with the 1953 Hollywood classic Roman Holiday starring Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck! This reverse Cinderella-story follows a princess (Audrey Hepburn) who decides to take a break from royalty and explore the streets of Rome with a handsome stranger (Gregory Peck). Sparks fly and love is found in the most unlikely of situations!

Embrace Roman Holiday's vintage Hollywood aesthetic in anticipation of our 1950's-themed production of Rossini's charming romantic comedy, Cinderella!


Opera at City Centre

Join us for a free performance at City Centre Mall during your Thursday lunch hour! Tenor Matthew Bruce will present the best of opera, including music from the upcoming production of Puccini's Turandot. Head up to the Tim Hortons on the Pedway level at noon to enjoy this glorious lunchtime performance! 

Alberta Culture Days

Celebrate Alberta Culture Days by going around the world with Edmonton Opera! Join us at Kingsway Mall (central court) starting 11:30 a.m. for a day of free family-friendly fun! We will have a complimentary photo booth, crafts table, face painting, and prize draws to win tickets to the opera!

Edmonton Opera singers will also perform delightful arias in various languages! Performances begin at noon and 1:30 p.m. Free admission.
