A roll of the drums... Edmonton Opera salutes winter with a wild and wonderful roar of laughter with Donizetti's Daughter of the Regiment. Join the adventures of this exuberant band of brothers and their adopted 'daughter' Marie, played by star-of-tomorrow Andriana Chuchman. When Marie must decide between her love for the regiment (yes, the whole regiment) and her love for Tonio (the delightful Colin Ainsworth), hilarity is bound to ensue. Rob Herriot and Peter Dala, who last joined us for H.M.S. PINAFORE, are in command of our winter festivities once more, and when they do for soldiers what they did for sailors last season, you may not hear the orchestra over the sound of laughter...
