Please join us Friday, June 19, 2015, to celebrate the summer solstice with Opera al Fresco! Audiences rotate between four stages in the lush, natural settings of the Devonian Botanic Garden, enjoying operatic and other crowd-pleasing repertoire and indulging in hors d'oeuvres and wine.
Tickets can be purchased here or by calling the box office at 780.429.1000.
Gates open at 6 p.m.
Welcome reception: 6:30 – 7 p.m.
Performances: 7 – 10 p.m.
Parking will be available at the Devonian Botanic Garden. Please wear comfortable shoes and clothing, and come prepared with insect repellent and an umbrella.
After a welcome reception and performance, there will be repeating performances taking place simultaneously in three different gardens. Patrons will have a chance to experience all three performances by starting at different points in the circuit and moving from one garden to the next between performances. Your starting point will be assigned to you upon arrival, and staff will be onsite to guide you to your next performance garden.
At the welcome reception and Japanese Garden performance, seating will only be available for elderly or disabled guests; seating for all guests will be provided at all other performance locations.
Your ticket purchase includes hors d'oeuvres served at all performance locations during the event. We will be selling drink tickets to be redeemed for wine (please bring cash as there is no ATM on site, although credit card can be accepted). Water stations will be located at all performance locations.
