Alberta Culture Days

This year, Edmonton Opera proudly celebrates the 10th anniversary of Alberta Culture Days with two days of free, family-friendly events! Join us on Friday, September 29 at Enterprise Square and Saturday, September 30 at Southgate Centre to experience Alberta's diverse heritage through free performances, arts and crafts, and more!

Lunchtime Lullabies

This multi-cultural showcase of soothing songs for children and babies brings together Cree lullabies, African folk songs, and opera. With a focus on childcare practices from Alberta's Indigenous communities, Lunchtime Lullabies is an opportunity to learn, share stories, and participate in ensuring a bright future for young Albertans. You can also enjoy a free art exhibit, sample some bannock, browse at a pop-up market, and pose for our photo booth!

Friday, September 29, 2017 • 11 am to 2 pm • Performances start at noon • Panel discussion begins at 11 am • Enterprise Square • 10230 Jasper Avenue

Presented in partnership with University of Alberta Faculty of Extension
