Accounting Clerk/Bookkeeper
Edmonton Opera is looking for a part-time bookkeeper to assist in the finance department. Duties would include but are not limited to::
- Assist with and process all financial transactions (invoices, bank deposits, time sheets, payroll, etc.) on a timely basis, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal policies
- Assist with account and bank reconciliations
- Assist with documents and forms to regulatory bodies (ie: CRA, GST), ensuring accurate and timely submission
- Perform office duties such as photocopying, faxing, and reception
- Assisting other departments as required.
- Assisting staff members in their understanding of internal company policies
- Other related duties as assigned by supervisor
