Edmonton Opera nominated for 5 Sterling Awards
Edmonton Opera is honoured to be nominated for five Sterling Awards for the 2009/2010 season!
The Sterling Awards were created in 1987 to celebrate outstanding professional theatre in Edmonton, Alberta. They are named in honour of Elizabeth Sterling Haynes, director, actress, educator and architect of innumerable theatre programs and schools throughout the province.

Outstanding Production of a Musical: Rigoletto
Outstanding Set Design: Bretta Gerecke, Rigoletto
Outstanding Costume Design: Bretta Gerecke, Rigoletto
Outstanding Lighting Design: Harry Frehner, Rigoletto
Outstanding Musical Director: Robert Tweten, Rigoletto
